RED CARPET COLOR

Beige tone blondes like Michelle Williams and January Jones dominated the carpet at the Golden Globes this year, while sandy, nude and natural shades were the popular colors to be dressed up in. Wheaty blondes, Diana Agron and Julie Bowen also kept it natural, wearing complimentary neutral toned gowns that emphasized their porcelain skin and soft hair color. With soft head-to-toe palettes, stars just said NO to spray tans, opting instead to emphasize their natural beauty. Emerald green kept the brunettes looking richer than ever and beauties, Mila Kunis, Catherine Zeta Jones and Angelina Jolie were standouts. Primary colors make darker brunettes look lush and brilliant rather than causing the color to disappear, as with basic black. With a color enhancing glaze or some skillfully placed highlights, New Yorkers can also have red carpet style on a daily basis.
